Recipients (2016)

This video is the documentation of the video installation of the same name, originally displayed in Bennington VT 2016.

Inspired by the structural film work of artists like Paul Sharits and Tony Conrad, this piece aimed to explore inverses. Landscapes were overlayed with flickering patterns for the source footage. Participants wore a viewing screen helmet which the footage was projected at. Transducers were attached to the helmet playing a binaural beating pattern which can be heard in the soundtrack of this video.
